Through Computer graphics (CG), modern video game production and development can always present exquisite imagery. For example, CG creates some new body shapes in both real-world and virtual world for the main theme of war video games. This study especially focuses on the history of tank form and explores the differences of tanks between the game world and the real world. Not only have those tanks in unreal world evolved a variety of form and performance but also those in real world, which have a great influence on the design of the development of tanks or even change the trend of Army operations. This research aims at the German Armored Division tank design and analyses the bodies, exterior styling and performance of those representative models of tanks. By Red Alert game tank design, we generalize and analyze the tanks infrastructure, body appearance, use of form, painting camouflage and armor material alternative view in both real and virtual world, then use the design to create and display a unique form of tanks with CG. |
