組織協調機制之網路觀點探討與命題發展－－以電子商務旅遊業為例

A Study on Organization Coordination Mechanisms Using the Networking Perspective and Proposition Development- Example of e-Commerce in Traveling Business

近年來，由於網際網路快速發展下，虛擬化常被許多學者提出，尤其是對於組織變革上的影響，其中網路儼然已成為主要的促動因素，事實上，組織為適應變革的時代，在管理活動上有必要加以調整，以適應更快速變化的環境。本研究提出二元網路性質：（1）「網路平臺」（Networking platform）與（2）「網路資訊」（Networking information）為互異之兩個構面，然後選定費堯所述的五大管理活動中的協調管理作為組織變革管理探討的對象，另外，由於虛擬化具有之動態與彈性的特質（曹祥雲，1997；唐震與陳文賢，2002），故於研究對象則選取以近似專案式組織（Mintzberg，1983）特性之樣本，探討協調機制在組織管理活動上的實際情形。研究過程，逐步推導出研究架構，同時亦設計四維格道，分別是（1）實體型的傳統階段、（2）虛擬型的實施階段，以及（3）互動型和（4）正式型的潛力階段，據以歸納出個案所處之四維格道；在命題發展上則得出：組織的協調機制與網路平臺的互動程度與網路資訊的正式程度等兩個命題，為本研究結論及相關管理實務上的建議。

Owing to the rapid development of the internet, the term of virtualization is submitted by many scholars recently. Especially, the network becomes the main factor that makes the impact of the organization innovation. In order to have the organization adapt it self the age of innovation and the rapid changing environment, the managerial activities of the organization need to be adjusted. In this paper, we propose the dualistic properties of networking platform and net working information as the foundation of virtualization of organizational management activities in the research. Our research is structured on the basis of coordinating functions involving the five major management activities presented by Dr. Fayol (1949). Besides that, the virtualization appears the characteristics of dynamic and flexible (Tsao, 1997; Tang, 2002), the research targets are limited to the cases of quasi-Adhocracy organization. The research is aimed at exploring how the virtual technologies are applied in the organizational management activities. In this research, we design the four dimensions chart of virtual coordination, they are: (1) conventional stage of physical type, (2) implementation stage of virtual type, (3) potential stage of interactive type, (4) potential state of formal type. In this research, we also find out the conclusions of the propositions: the organizational coordination mechanisms will effect the networking platform’s interaction and the networking information content’s formality.
