臺灣女子壘球參與國際運動賽會之研究（1965-2005）

The Research on the participating in international sport matches of Women's Softball in Taiwan (1963-2005)

行政院體育委員會於2004年擬定了「挑戰2008黃金計畫」，其中將女子壘球運動列為北京奧運奪金奪牌運動的種類之一，不過目前有關臺灣女子壘球運動發展之文獻，多為零碎而片斷的史料，研究目的：在分析歷年臺灣女子壘球運動成績的表現，和探討過去臺灣女子壘球運動發展的概況，並探究過去臺灣女子壘球運動發展的問題。研究方法：採歷史研究法，在蒐集相關史料加以分析後，得到以下結論：一、中華臺北女子壘球代表隊成績在亞洲女子壘球錦標賽、亞運女子壘球錦標賽，成績表現一直名列為亞洲前三強，不過近來南韓和北韓有逐漸迎頭趕上的跡象。而在世界女子壘球錦標賽和奧運女子壘球錦標賽之中，成績多為四到六名。二、女子壘球運動的發展，以1982年第五屆世界女子壘球賽為分界點，從國內參賽的隊數和在國際比賽的成績來看，逐漸由興盛轉為式微。還好從2002年起奪得世界女子壘球賽季軍、亞運銀牌與亞洲女子壘球賽亞軍，重回國際女子壘球四強行列。三、過去女子壘球運動發展的經驗當中，仍有運動人口的不足、投手的訓練問題、經費短缺、選手課業或就業的困擾等問題，需由國家政策來主導，以及社會民眾來支持，來解決問題。總之，當前正是中華臺北女子壘球隊在國際比賽屢獲佳績之際，期待好的成績，能使得政府扮演主導的地位，並喚起社會民眾的關注，留住女子壘球人才，使其無後顧之憂，全力為2008年北京奧運女子壘球奪牌做準備。

National Council on Physical Fitness and Sports had drawn up「Challenging the Golden Plan in 2008」in 2004. However, the baseball was more concerned and enthusiastic than women's softball for compatriots all the time. Equally, the relative records for development of women's softball games, which were bitty and part material. It was not detailed and systematic to put down in writing for baseball games. Purpose: To inspected germ and development for women's softball games of Taiwan, analyzed the expression of sports achievements for women's softball of Chinese Taipei, and probed into questions for the past development of women's softball games. Methods: historical research. Results: 1. The achievements of Chinese Taipei women's softball team were always the front of Asia's top three in Asia women's softball championship and women's softball championship of Asia games, but South Korea and North Korea gradually caught up with Chinese Taipei these days, which didn't neglect. And then, the achievements were forth to sixth ranks in world women's softball championship. 2. The development of woman's softball sports, the times were demarcated by 5th world women's softball games in 1982. It seemed that team numbers took part in a match in internal and nation's achievements, which were prosperous to turn about recession.. It is a blessing that it is comparable to third place of the world women's softball, the Asian Games silver medal and the second place of Asia women's softball championship from 2002, return to the ranks of the top four of international women's softball. 3. In past experiences for development of women's softball games, there were still many questions that including insufficient in sports population, training of pitcher, fund deficiency, and obsessions of players' lessons or occupations. They must be by nation policy guiding and social public supporting to solve problems, and turned back inferiority. To sum up, the times were Chinese Taipei women's softball team frequently obtaining good achievements in international games right currently. Expecting current good achievements made government impersonate status of guiding and social public of attention. Remaining the talent of women's softball, and made not fear of disturbance in the rear. That they obtained the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games women's softball medal would prepare with all one's strength.
