Purpose: In this study, the application of the item response theory to the construction of the basketball-throw testing grading measure for sixth graders. Methods: The subjects were the basketball-throw testing of five hundred and four for sixth grade students. WINSTEPS was used as an estimation tool for item calibration, item and person distribution map, model-data fit analysis, item difficulty estimation, and person ability estimation. Results: It makes to compare with model-data fit, the mnsq of Dichotomous Model is equal to expected value. Conclusion: Rasch dichotomous model can provide a suitable and solid base for grading in Psychomotor testing. |
