It is suggested that the use of enterprise information systems is highly influenced by the "Post-adoptive Behaviors". However, there is only limited research which focuses on the micro perspective. Build on organizational learning theory and institutional theory, this research intends to fill in the gap of knowledge by providing a cross-level theoretical framework and relevant propositions to discuss the influence of institutional and organizational social factors on the "Post-adoptive Behaviors" from a macro perspective. Research findings suggest that different organizational social climate would induce different organizational post-adoptive behaviors, e.g. exploitation and exploration behaviors. Further, top management leadership, organizational structure, and information system development strategy also have impact on the types of organizational social climate. |
