The Task-Technology Fit (TTF) and the Information Systems Success Model (IS Success Model) are both significant models in the MIS research. These two models provide a much needed theoretical basis for exploring the factors that explain information systems utilization and its link with user performance. TTF focuses on the match between user task needs and technology characteristics. IS Success Model focuses on the system quality, information quality, and service quality have positive effect on users' performance. This research based on TTF and IS Success Model. We develop and empirically test a theoretical model of DSS success. 500 questionnaires were distributed to middle managers in a bank and 212 usable replies were received, or 42.4% of the total sent. This study tests our model using path analysis. Our integrated model provides more explanatory power than either model alone. Research results show that information system quality, service quality and task-technology fit are determined DSS success. |
