This study aims to evaluate the organizational change uncertainty and pressure of employees for Kaohsiung port. Three organizational change uncertainty dimensions were identified based on factor analysis: job guaranty, lost of position and reduction of the available resource, and communicating anxiety. In addition, two organizational change pressures were also identified based on factor analysis: career development and job acquisition and work essence. Specifically, employees are very concerned about the communicating anxiety and worried about the work essence. Results also found that employees' perceptions on communicating anxiety, work essence, and job guaranty significantly differ between different groups regarding the gender, marital status, age, and working experience, respectively. |
