Being pregnant, as well as giving birth, is a major turning point in life for women. Having a baby can be a stressful and life-changing event and also postpartum depression (PPD) is a common complication of childbearing. Nowadays most women are aware of PPD and its risk factors. That is where the postpartum care center comes in and is exactly one of the important reasons it has flourished. The postpartum care center provides the professional care team which can take good care of mothers and new babies and the comfortable environment which enable mothers to get fully rest. This study has employed survey research to explore the considerations for pregnant women to choose a postpartum care center, and the results show that there is a significant difference between respondents of different ages and occupations on 「the professional care services aspect」; there are significant differences among respondents of different levels of education on 「the professional care services aspect」, 「the reputation and services aspects」 and 「the facilities and price aspects」; the higher value of 「the reputation and services aspects」 and 「the facilities and price aspects」, the higher predicted value of 「professional care services aspect」. |
