The present study tries to explore the social responsibility issues; therefore, it focused on the negative social impact factors regarding the on-line gambling in Taiwan. As we may know the highly-involved gambling can be addictive, and sometimes it will make family ruined. In addition, it will increase social costs invisibly. Recently, Asian countries also start to emphasize the pathological gambling issues. To insight into the on-line gambling and public safety in Chinese society- we have to face some challenges such as crime, family, society, and new generation issues. The present study will interview experts first, then use the Analytical Hierarchy Process Method to conduct the survey. The research outcome demonstrated that ―stimulating crime (0.416) shall be the most crucial factor of the negative social impact, and the sub-dimensions, ―Drug Addiction and Profiteering (0.544) and ―Fraud (0.229), are most vital parts. As to ―effects on family (0.385), the most significant sub-dimension is ―family cohesion (0.470).As far as imitation by adolescents (0.126)and Socio-Psychological (0.074) are concerned, the weights are comparably lower. Hopefully, this research can contribute to the future ―responsible gambling development in Taiwan. |
