日治時代臺灣醫生廖煥章在上海的焦慮書寫——以詩詞為例

The Doctor Hua-Zheng Liao's Writing Anxiety in Shanghai during the Japanese Colonial Period –Based on the Examples of Poetry and Lyrics

廖煥章（1883-1937）是日治時代臺灣醫學校的畢業生。他覺得醫學深奧，才能濟世救民，使黃種霸圖。第一次留日後，娶回日籍妻子，第二次留日後，就前往中國南京行醫，接著到上海自行開業。第三次留日，取得醫學博士，又回到上海行醫，一生奉獻中國。並常在《臺灣日日新報》寫詩詞。他熱愛杜詩，曾四次以〈秋興〉為題。在中國行醫期間，遇到北伐、清黨、抗日。他原本對中國抱有「祖國」夢，但看到不斷的內戰與抗日，使得民不聊生，興起「江山信美非吾土」，從希望轉為幻滅。離鄉多年想歸故鄉，卻又無田產。因此他常借詩詞來關懷國事與批評時局，詩詞中呈現國族認同與矛盾的焦慮情懷，政治關懷與批判，對中國與臺灣有雙重失根之痛，因此在七七事變時，他選擇支持日方，成為日本軍醫對抗中國。

Hua-Zheng Liao (1883-1937) was a graduate of the Taiwanese Medical School during the Japanese Colonial Period. He believed that the medical science is profound and doctors need to working hard on studying it, so they can save and help people. After his first studying abroad in Japan, he married a Japanese wife. Later on, he went to Nanjing to practice medicine and opened his own clinic in Shanghai after his second studying abroad in Japan. After receiving his MD during his third studying abroad in Japan, he went to Shanghai to practice medicine and often wrote poetry and lyrics in The Chinese Written Language Taiwan Daily New Newspaper. He loved the poetry of Du Fu and named his poetry as Qiu Xing four times. During the time of practicing medicine in China, there came the chaos of Northern Expedition, the Qing party and the anti-Japanese events. Though he had the intention of going back to the 'motherland,' after seeing the unceasing civil wars and the anti-Japanese wars which caused great problems and difficulties to the people, he was unable to go back. Therefore, he write poetry and lyrics often to suggest his concern of national affairs and political situations. During the Marco Polo Bridge Incident, he chose to support the Japanese and became a Japanese military doctor.
