Educational leadership is impacted by various inner and outer factors. It is an opportunity to conduct innovation to study educational leadership. Therefore, “educational leadership studies” is a macro concept which performed as a continuum included with academic subject, research method and research outcome by semantic analysis. By situation analysis, leadership studies got various impacts from interdisciplinary search, development of measure and data analysis, and other outer factors. Some outcomes and problems in leadership studies about system of academic subject, theories and ideas, metaphors, variables, levels of analysis and themes, research approaches and methods, etc. were discussed. Moreover, some topics for educational leadership included goals of development, levels of research, viewpoints of research, assumptions for development of subject, assumptions for leader, interested domains, focused models in research, and related conceptions were illustrated. Finally a two-dimension framework for educational leadership studies was proposed to create some available research themes for educational leadership studies. |
