This paper tried to present a model to explain the formation and development of social capital of a company within a Business Group, and the relationships among the different dimensions of social capital in terms of Nahapiet and Ghoshal’s structural, relational, and cognitive and the relationships among social capital and resources exchange and innovation performance of the company. Structural equation modeling was used to analyze the data of 100different Business Groups in Taiwan. It is found that intra group’s social interaction 、 commonvision、 and trust facilitated the formation of social capital of the company of Business Group. The innovation performance of the company is influenced by the company’s social capital and resource exchange among intra-group. |
