臺灣外商銀行財務經營績效與影響因素之實證研究

一般均認為外商銀行其經營能力較本國銀行優秀，因為在不平等的競爭基礎下，外商銀行仍然獲得優於本國銀行的利潤，顯示必有其優勢能力。本文主要研究目的在於探討外商銀行的經營績效影響因素，本文將採用因素分析進行實證研究，分別探討外商銀行經營之重要影響因素，並分類探討不同類型的外商銀行經營策略。實證結果顯示外商銀行影響因素之排序分別為：「營收成長因素」、「資產品質因素」、「資本性因素」、「收益性因素」、「壞帳風險因素」、「放款成長因素」。在不同銀行體系的影響因素部份，美系銀行較重視風險承擔能力，而亞洲銀行則較注重營業收入與放款的成長率。影響績效因素部分，資產規模因素並不顯著，顯示銀行絕非越大越好；而放款業務收益則是為顯著的負向影響。最後，本文根據研究結果，建議未來銀行業應著重於非傳統的經營業務部分。

We find the foreign-owned bank has a better operating performance and strategy than local banks in Taiwan. Because, under an unfair competitive base, the foreign banks in Taiwan still have a more than profit local banks of profit. Show they have a unique advantageous position. The purpose of this study is to discuss the influence factor for efficiencies of foreign bank. We would discuss the foreign-banks of important financial index by using factor analysis and principal analysis. We will find the key factors in foreign banks of efficiency.Then it can to be divided into three categories: American、European、Asian types in operationmode. We also discuss the different kind of bank that has a using strategic. This study of shows the foreign bank of important financial index has six items. They’re included and ranked as follows. Operation income of growth rate factor, Assets quality factor, Capital factor, Earnings factor, Support risk ability factor and Loan of growth rate factor. In difference bank system, we compare the common factor in the difference bank system. The empirical results show that the American bank system has to place much ability on support risk ability. Other hand, the Asian bank system than emphasize operating income and loan of growth rate. The assets size factor is not significantly, shown the big bank is not sure better bank; the loan service revenue factor is negative; we consider the banks should to move fee income business.
