The purpose of this study was to understand the perceptions of coach leadership and behavior of conflict handling of the collegiate first-division table-tennis players. The subjects of this study were the collegiate first-division table-tennis players. The research instruments were the Perceptions of Coach Leadership and Behavior of Handling Conflict Questionnaire. One-way ANOVA and Pearson Correlation Analysis were utilized for statistical analysis. The conclusions of this research were:
(a) The perceptions of the coach’s leadership of the collegiate first-division table-tennis players was different depending on the years of playing table tennis, the frequency of training, and level of playing table tennis. But there was no different depending on the gender.
(b) The behavior of handling conflict of the collegiate first-division table-tennis players was different depending on their gender, the years of playing table tennis, the frequency of training. But there was no different depending on the level of playing table tennis.
(c) There was significantly positive correlation between the perceptions of the coach’s leadership and the behavior of handling conflict. |
