The paper is to analyze the trend of teacher education reform in Taiwan and to reconstruct the prospect of teacher education reform through a perspective of paradigm shift. First, it analyzes the trend of teacher education reform and its derivational problems. Second, it introduces the proposals of some scholars, and the new project proposed by the educational authority in order to solve the related problems. Third, it uses the concept of paradigm to analyze the contemporary proposals and the project of educational authority, and then proposes an alternative paradigm to reconstruct the teacher education reform. Finally, it provides suggestions for future teacher education reform. |
