”Culture” is a general term for a specific way of living which influence daily life of the people who are engaged with it. Accordingly, the teenagers in Taiwan under influence of Taiwanese culture must have their own living modes and attitude. By means of historical and social analyses, the present study aims to depict an overlooked picture of Taiwanese teenagers' ”culture”, focusing particularly on the aspects of Hip Hop culture and Tai-Ker culture. Furthermore, the study questioned the concept of ”the problem that teenagers create” and presented an in-depth discussion of the relation between teenager culture and social problems. The logic of ”culture influences individual behavior” led a conclusion that the causes of the teenagers' problems be social rather than individual. |
