"Micro-revolution" is a kind of "quiet revolution," which can trigger specific and small changes. Micro-revolution may not draw much attention, but it can possibly change the status quo gradually. Micro-revolution at the school is a process in which phenomena in need of changes are identified, multiple voices are collected, and a few changes are made, so as to gradually promote the qualities of school education. This study investigated the transformational process of moving towards professional
learning community through practical experiences associated with professional learning community at the
school. Based on the concepts of "student learning" and "professional practice," micro-revolution is to
put "professional learning community" into practice through action strategies. It is hoped that we can
develop a deeper understanding of professional learning community. Results gained in this study can serve as a cultural driving force for professional recognition at the school and provide reference to school managers who seek micro-revolution. |
