Wearing an identification (ID) bracelet can prevent the danger of getting lost; however, research on the use of bracelets for preventing getting lost has been scant. This study aimed to explore the characteristics, wearing states and influencing factors of the applicant when using the ID bracelet as a reference for providing anti-lost welfare services. Telephone interviews were used to collect data from applicants of the anti-lost bracelet and their family. Most of the 639 valid samples are male and did not use the ID bracelet. The results show that there are significant differences between characteristics, lifestyle, using and wearing states. The reasons that the ID bracelets are rarely used and not used are applicant's lifestyle, assisted walking, loss or damage to the bracelet, material and style and stigma from wearing the ID bracelet. Finally, suggestions are made from the service delivery system, physical property of ID bracelet, applicant's characteristics and improving the using-efficiency and wearing states of the ID bracelet. |
