This paper begins with an overview of Macau Medical Malpractice Law. From the perspectives of tort liability in medical care and relationships between hospitals and patients, it argued that the existing Macau Medical Malpractice Law does not meet the practical needs of the malpractice settlements, and that improvements should be made to better protect patients’ interests. |
