攝護腺膿瘍為一罕見之感染，主要發生於中年男性，最常見之病菌為大腸桿菌及其他葛蘭氏陰性菌。因社區型的抗藥性金黃色葡萄球菌導致之攝護腺膿瘍更是非常罕見。在此，我們提出兩個因抗藥性金黃色葡萄球菌所導致的攝護腺膿瘍之案例。在詳細的問診、身體檢查和影像學的基礎上，我們建立了正確的診斷；並且在外科手術引流膿瘍及兩周的萬古黴素治療後，我們的病患最終都能完全地康復。我們報告這兩個案例並且回顧因抗藥性金黃色葡萄球菌所導致的攝護腺膿瘍之文獻，並討論這個疾病之特徵、治療及其結果。 |
| 英文摘要 |
Prostatic abscess, a rare infection, is predominantly caused by Escherichia coli and other gram-negative bacteria among middle-aged men. Prostatic abscess caused by community-ac-quired methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is extremely rare. We report two patients with prostatic abscesses caused by community-acquired MRSA. On the basis of a de-tailed history, physical examination, and essential imaging studies, we were able to establish a correct diagnosis. Both of our patients recovered following surgical abscess drainage with only 2 weeks of vancomycin therapy. We discuss our patients and review the community-ac-quired MRSA cases in the literature regarding characteristics, management, and outcomes. |
