淡水烽火段位處於淡水河進入台北盆地之河口位置，清治時期駐有水師守備營，極具軍事戰略樞紐位置。區段內土地完整且呈現未開發之狀態。隨著清廷與西方列強(1858年天津條約)及日本(1895年馬關條約)等兩次不平等條約的簽訂，其空間場域建構首先由西方列強著眼於其經濟利益上及霸權領土空間延伸之考量，據以為其永久租借地，專注於作為經貿通商口岸所需之關務、洋行等設施之建設，及至政權的移轉日本，空間場域在建構上弱化原關務、洋行等設施功能、增設地方官廳與金融機構等設施功能，直接反映日治時期在其政治、經濟等社會機制相互運作下，專注於呈現作為地區行政及經貿中心的目標。鑒於弱化原關務、洋行等設施及增設地方官廳及金融機構等設施功能之進程，係依台灣總督府實行「廢縣、廳，設州、郡」政策之1920年代為分界點，本研究架構分日治前期(1895-1920)及日治後期(1920-1945)等兩階段，分別探討其關務、洋行、及地方官廳與金融機構等單位之進駐，其行政及經貿行為之形塑，以期深入了解整個日治時期淡水烽火段行政及經貿空間場域之建構。 |
| 英文摘要 |
The Tam-sui Feng-huo Section, located at the gateway of Tam-sui River and controlling the passageway to the Taipei Basin, has been characterized by its strategic military position. The Qingnavy squad had been deployed here since the Qing era. By that time, the whole area remained in an undeveloped condition. By following the inscription of two unequal treaties initiated by the Qing authority vs. the Western Superpower in 1858 and Japan government in 1895 respectively, the formation of the spatial field of Tam-sui Feng-huo Section evolved from the construction of the custom and business agency facilities contributing to the treaty port between 1858-1895, to the production of the local office and financial service facilities endorsed by the political and economic determination of the Japanese administration for the regional center from 1895 onward. Corresponding to the evolution of the spatial field in the former and latter stages of the Japanese Colonial Period, the exploration has focused on the political and economic connection of the facilities throughout the era. The aim is to explore the formation of the administrative and commercial spatial field of Tam-sui Feng-huo Section during the entire Japanese Colonial Period. |
