Purpose: Assisted reproduction has become a crucial medical option for infertile couples to achieve parenthood and establish families. However, the cost of infertility treatment is substantial, and success rates vary depending on individual patient circumstances. To effectively assist patients in making appropriate treatment decisions, having decision aid tools available to provide transparent and comprehensive consultations is imperative. Research Materials and Methods: This paper uses a document analysis approach to collect and introduce publicly available in vitro fertilization success rate prediction websites and related evaluation studies from the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia. Results: The establishment of success rate prediction websites aims to empower infertile patients with decision aid tools that use evidence-based data to support treatment consultations, enhancing patients’ control over treatment options, psychological expectations, and costs. Conclusion: Assisted reproduction registry authorities and reproductive institutions in Taiwan should adhere to principles of public accessibility and transparency when establishing infertility treatment decision aid tools to improve the quality of care in infertility treatment.
