Objective: To promote a safe workplace in hospital dentistry department by minimizing injuries caused by sharp objects. Conclusions: Following the interventions of this study, the number of sharp object injuries in the dentistry department was reduced, and the previously high-risk work environment was improved, which minimized staff exposure to hazards. Nevertheless, continuous efforts are necessary to foster a safe workplace.
