In accordance with Article 26 of the Communicable Disease Control Act and Article 12 of the Regulations Governing the Implementation of the Epidemiological Surveillance and Advance-Alert System for Communicable Diseases, the central competent authority may, as needed, require long-term care facilities, nursing homes, residential care institutions, correctional facilities, and similar settings to report specified infectious diseases or syndromic surveillance data. |
