In this thesis, we propose an electrochemical analyzer with wireless charging capability, designed for applications in the field of biosensing. Unlike traditional designs that rely on batteries or wired power sources, this system utilizes wireless charging technology, offering enhanced flexibility and extended operational lifespan. The system architecture centers around an EFM32 microcontroller featuring an integrated ARM Cortex-M3 core, with an HC-05 Bluetooth module facilitating wireless communication. For sensing, the system incorporates the Humming Probe UH2-GAS, a gas-phase pH electrode developed by UltraE Biotechnology. This sensor converts the pH response of gas samples into voltage signals, which are digitized via analog-to-digital conversion (ADC) by the microcontroller. The resulting digital data is transmitted to a mobile application, enabling real-time data acquisition, logging, and graphical visualization for efficient monitoring of pH variations. The biosensing system developed in this thesis is well-suited for long-term, humane monitoring of animals in enclosures. It supports continuous measurement and data collection while preserving the animals’freedom of movement, thereby offering a monitoring solution that effectively integrates scientific rigor with ethical responsibility. |
