As of 2024, over a quarter of Taiwan's counties and cities have entered a super-aged society. This aging trend has brought to the forefront a range of critical issues, such as increased social welfare costs, labor shortages, healthcare for the elderly, and care for those with dementia or disabilities. The prevalence of dementia, in particular, is rising with the growth of the elderly population, increasing the economic burden on the nation. Not only does dementia severely impact the physical and mental health of patients, but it often leads to caregiver burnout and depression. Dementia has become a major public health challenge in the 21st century. The emergence of artificial intelligence (AI) can help alleviate the burden on healthcare professionals, promote independence and active lifestyles among the elderly, and assist them in engaging in suitable physical and social activities. Embrace this digital wave, it is worth exploring how to integrate new technologies with dementia prevention and educationrelated issues, further developing new opportunities for collaborative growth.
