As digital technology rapidly advances, game-based learning is receiving increased attention in nursing education. Digital games offer users interactive experiences and immediate feedback, allowing them to engage in decision-making and trial-and-error processes. This enhances their critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. In recent years, nursing education has emphasized the importance of reflective skills in clinical practice. Digital games, with their contextual learning features, enhance experiential review and promote in-depth reflection among nursing students. However, there is limited empirical research on how digital games affect the reflective abilities of nursing students. In this review article, we analyzed the use of digital games in nursing education, evaluated their effect on nursing students’reflective abilities, and discussed potential benefits and challenges. The findings aim to provide insights for future research and educational practices. |
