中醫治療帶狀皰疹伴有神經痛之病例報告

Utilizing Chinese Medicine to Treat Herpes Zoster with Neuralgia: A Case Report

帶狀皰疹是潛伏性的疾病，為伺機性病毒感染，易出現於免疫力低下的患者身上；發病時疼痛難耐，影響日常生活。年長及症狀嚴重度越高，帶狀皰疹後遺神經痛的患病率也提高，此種疼痛症狀可以持續數月甚至數年，因此及早治療能減緩疼痛提高生活品質。此75歲女性患者左上側頭面部皰疹伴有抽痛20多日，經西醫常規治療後仍反覆。其後會診中醫辨證論治，針藥並用後症狀緩解，生活品質改善。

Herpes zoster is a latent disease, an opportunistic viral infection, and is prone to appear in immunocompromised patients. The pain is unbearable and affects daily life. The prevalence of postherpetic neuralgia increases with age and severity of symptoms, which can persist for months or even years, so early treatment can reduce pain and improve quality of life. This 75-year-old female patient had herpes on her left upper face with cramping pain for more than 20 days, and it was repeated after routine western medicine treatment. After consultation with TCM syndrome differentiation and treatment, the symptoms were relieved and the quality of life improved after the combined use of acupuncture and medicine.
