In addition to the traditional courses of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Earth Science, the 12-year compulsory education curriculum in natural science has proposed a 4-credit-hour innovative course named "Inquiry and Practice of Natural Sciences". It emphasizes the importance of "Practice Education" in the modem science education. This paper review and discuss the evolution of high school science curriculum in the past half century, and the recent renascence of practice. An example of modem practice is also proposed and discussed. |
