Over the past two decades, the 9-year-Compulsory Education and 12-year Basic Education reform led to various discussion on “curriculum leadership”. This paper aims at exploring a key component, systems thinking, of curriculum leadership and focuses on how to teach educators at junior high level with systems thinking and further lead to curriculum leadership. In this paper, the case of systems thinking module within Cultivating Curriculum Leadership Program is described and discussed. Starting from the development stage and designing concept, we explicate the details of the module and analyze the feedbacks of participants of this module. In the end, we offer reflections and suggestions as concluding remarks. |
