What movements should children of preschool age be able to perform? Which movements are suitable for them? What impact will happen for future sports skills after they learn these movements? How can we use progressively guide young children in developing fundamental motor skills? I started contemplating these questions during my university years. In recent years, through research project and invitations to share my ideas and to communicate with in-service preschool teachers at various locations. I have been promoting physical activities to enhance children's health, as well as sharing my empirical experience in designing and arranging movement education that suits young children's development. Looking forward, my purpose is to provide more concrete teaching systems for early childhood education teachers to establish fundamental motor skills teaching system for young children. |
