This article shares the practical experience of implementing technology-assisted medical education at the National Taiwan University Hospital's (NTUH) Department of Medical Education. The NTUH EdTech Support program provides clinical faculty professional consultations on instructional design, educational technology, learning outcome analysis, and access to relevant software and hardware resources. This support enables various departments to integrate digital technology into clinical teaching environments, enhancing teaching quality and improving student learning outcomes. Several cases of digital technology integration in teaching were successfully implemented as part of the initiative. The Advanced Practice Nurse Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) digital teaching material development project combined lesson planning, multimedia teaching methods, and digital tools to provide comprehensive support for clinical instructors. This project received outstanding student feedback and was awarded a gold medal in a teaching plan competition. This case highlights the potential and necessity of digital empowerment in advancing medical education. It serves as a practical reference for future medical education initiatives and is expected to be successfully implemented in other healthcare institutions. |
