This study uses a questionnaire survey to explore how high school history teachers in Taiwan view transitional justice education. It examines their perspectives on the current curriculum guidelines and textbook development, the difficulties they encounter when teaching topics related to transitional justice, their attitudes toward these difficulties, and the strategies and methods they adopt in their teaching. The findings indicate that while teachers recognize the importance of transitional justice education, they are concerned that its implementation may be influenced by particular political viewpoints. In addition, teachers highlight the need for teaching resources that incorporate diverse perspectives in order to fulfill the goals of history education. |
