Adenomyosis is a common benign uterine disease in women, but its mechanisms are not yet fully understood, making it difficult to establish a standardized treatment plan. This article reviews and discusses current drug and surgical treatments for adenomyosis, as well as future potential treatment methods, and lists relevant evidence. Although there are various treatment options currently being researched and proven effective for adenomyosis, further investigation is needed for newer developments. Treatment of adenomyosis must be tailored to the patient's symptoms, age, and fertility requirements. Future randomized controlled trials are necessary to compare different treatment methods to establish a standardized treatment plan, providing better assistance and optimal treatment for women with adenomyosis. |
