This paper aims to explore the development and application of immersive experience technologies in museum exhibitions. The literature review examines the technological advancements and evolution of immersive experiences, as well as their distinctive applications in museums. By analyzing two case studies—Japan's teamLab Borderless and the United States' ARTECHOUSE Beyond the Light—this study investigates the technological applications, exhibition designs, and audience experiences of these immersive exhibitions. Through these cases, it illustrates how immersive experiences redefine audience engagement and exhibition presentation, providing insights for future museum exhibition design. The conclusion highlights that as technology continues to advance, museum curators and designers must continuously explore new technologies and exhibition methods. Immersive experiences can play a vital role in museum exhibitions, offering audiences enriched artistic experiences and knowledge acquisition, thereby fostering the promotion of art and the dissemination of culture. |
