The rapid advancement of information technology, coupled with the accelerating effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, has necessitated that hospitals adopt innovative approaches to staff training. In response, the case hospital integrated Information and Communications Technology with multimedia to implement a next-generation digital learning system. This system was designed to transcend the constraints of time, space, and preventive quarantine measures imposed by the pandemic, thereby ensuring the uninterrupted continuation of in-service training for healthcare professionals. This study investigates the implementation of the new system in the case hospital, with a focus on identifying and analyzing the critical success factors that have facilitated widespread adoption among healthcare staff and contributed to the rapid diffusion of the system within the organization. Additionally, this research incorporates field observations to explore the factors that may impede the system's implementation. A cross-sectional survey was conducted, involving 150 healthcare professionals who voluntarily and anonymously completed a questionnaire. The analysis of sample characteristics indicated that the majority of respondents were female (85.3%), predominantly from the nursing department (66.7%), with most participants aged between 41 and 50 years (44.0%). The study utilized SmartPLS V4 for model validation, with the overall model explaining 72% of the variance. The findings reveal that key success factors for fostering positive attitudes towards the digital learning system and enhancing the intention to use it include Relative Advantage, Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, Social Influence, and External Envirolllllental Factors. The user-friendly interface of the new system was found to significantly contribute to improved productivity and efficiency among healthcare professionals. Moreover, the perceived benefits of the system for in-service training positively influenced staff attitudes and increased their intention to utilize the system. The results of this study provide valuable insights for hospital management in the implementation of new systems, enabling the identification of key facilitators that enhance system adoption. These insights are particularly relevant for change agents tasked with designing and implementing effective support measures. Through strategic management activities, the promotion and diffusion of the system can be accelerated, ensuring that it is fully adopted by users and that its potential benefits are realized. |
