This article explores the application of the ''on-demand health education system'' in clinical nursing, particularly its impact on enhancing nursing efficiency and quality. The system utilizes a dedicated health education database, allowing nursing staff to select suitable educational content for patients. By generating QR codes, patients and their families can access information anytime and anywhere. The main objectives of the study are to examine how primary nursing staff and patients’families use this system, identify factors affecting its acceptance, and improve the effectiveness of nursing education. The study targeted nursing staff and family members at a medical center, employing a cross-sectional survey design. A total of 500 and 400 questionnaires were distributed, yielding 500 and 253 valid responses, respectively, resulting in valid response rates of 100% and 63.5%. Data were compiled and analyzed. Results indicate that the on-demand health education system positively affects nursing efficiency and educational quality. Most nursing staff found the system easy to use, though opinions on its operational convenience varied. Patients and their families rated the system highly for usability, but improvements are needed regarding satisfaction and usage attitudes. Educational background influenced usage attitudes, with challenges observed among elderly patients and foreign caregivers. The study suggests further optimization of operational convenience and user interface to enhance the experience for individuals with diverse educational backgrounds and age groups. |
