近年來對於能源及環境議題的關注,各國政府大力推動綠色與環保能源計畫,學術界與產業界投入大量資源與精力研發能源材料與環境友善的製程。過往對於材料量測技術裡,在測量儀器限制下條件與環境中皆以測量靜態樣品為主。但對於材料真實應用如催化過程、電池充放電、電晶體於操作電壓等條件下,當中的電荷遷移、價態變化及化學環境等過程理解甚少。軟X光吸收光譜技術恰好對於電荷與價態變化十分敏感且具有元素選擇特性,適合用於材料研發。但由於軟X光在大氣環境中將快速被吸收衰減,需要高真空環境中測量。因此,對於軟X光吸收光譜而言,發展臨場/即時操作量測樣品座就能克服量測環境問題,對於材料研發與特徵量測極為重要。
英文摘要
Recently, the energy and environmental issues received a lot of attentions about reducing environmental pollution and renewable energy promoted by energy policies of global countries. The academic and industry are putting many efforts to improve the efficiency of energy materials adopted with the environmental-friendly processes. Generally, the sample is tested in a static state to study its characterization. However, the investigation of the dynamic state which contains the very important information such as the charge transfer, the valance state variance, and the chemical environment change, respectively, during the catalytic process, battery charging and discharging process, and the transistor operation process. Soft X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS) is a powerful tool to extract electronic information of materials due to the highly sensitive and the element specific measurements. Because of the strong attenuation of soft X-ray in air, developing liquid and gas sample cell is indispensible for the in-situ/ operando measurements to study the dynamic state of energy-related materials.
