This treatise delves into the legislative rationale and the comprehensive procedure for site selection established by Germany’s Site Selection Act, promulgated in 2013 and revised in 2017, along with an exposition of the German scholarly critique of this statute. Subsequently, employing this as a comparative foundation, it investigates potential theoretical and practical challenges faced by the Act on Sites for Establishment of Low Level Radioactive Waste Final Disposal Facility inaugurated in 2006 in Taiwan. This examination is intended to furnish guidance for pertinent entities in the amendment of laws or the formulation and execution of policies. |
