Sclerosing microcystic adenocarcinoma (SMA) is a rare neoplastic entity. When occurring in the head and neck mucosa, it is histopathologically similar to cutaneous microcystic adnexal carcinoma (MAC). Upon reviewing the literature, to our knowledge, only 2-3 SMA cases have been reported in the Asian population. Hereby, we report a case of SMA arising in the floor of the mouth of a patient with concurrent oral squamous cell carcinoma in the tongue. |
