Analyzing Factors Affecting Logistics Costs In A Smart City Under A Fuzzy Improvement Method

The logistics costs play an extremely important role, but the measurement method is not uniformly standardized, and the uncertainty is not taken seriously. In this study, we examine the factors affecting logistics costs（LC）based on an integrated approach between Descriptive Statistics（DS）and Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process（Fuzzy-AHP）to form a linear regression function（LRF）with the sub-variables, which will create a robust scientific background in looking for the optimized solutions about LC. The case of Binh Duong Smart City in Vietnam is analyzed with some new costs. The results show that our integrated approach will help to decrease the weaknesses of the DS method only in statistical analysis. In addition, new cost types that are collected from the cooperation between Binh Duong authorities and logistics enterprises will contribute to the literature on LC.
