Common post-COVID-19 vaccine reactions include general malaise, headache, diarrhea, local injection site reaction, fever, and myalgia. We present a case report about one kind of rare side effect, alopecia universalis, and discuss the pathophysiology of autoimmune alopecia (alopecia areata, alopecia totalis, alopecia universalis). The JAK-STAT pathway plays an important role, and we treated the patient with the JAK inhibitor tofacitinib, and there was a fair treatment response. |
