Moving From Chaos to Order: An Example From“Farewell, Eagles”by Dadelavan Ibeu

細讀達德拉凡‧伊苞《老鷹，再見》的文本，以「在混沌與清明之間的追尋」作為本文觀察的起點，鋪陳作者引領讀者走近（進）一個作家主體精神世界的樣貌，以及對一己民族文化傳統的孺慕。並從中獲致伊苞為當代原住民作家的書寫，開展出一種抒情清麗的寫作語調，一個跨族群對話的旅行文學的樣式，和她作為一名原住民女性書寫者的內在超越與自由。

In carefully reading through Dadelevan Ibeu's“Farewell, Eagles”I have formed some opinions which inspired me to begin my thesis: to seek the thread that runs between chaos and order. I wish I could guide readers to become closer to Ibeu's spiritual world and come to know how and why she adores her own culture so much. Ibeu's writing spreads out gracefully and lyrically. Beyond that, her work is seasoned with a tribal flavor. To understand Ibeu is to travel in time through Taiwan history. As an indigenous female writer, Ibeu has has achieved what few others have done. She has taken her internal culture and set it free for everyone else to experience.
