Despite the political constraints imposed by the“One China”policy, the economic rapport between Mongolia and Taiwan is steadily maturing, particularly in the realms of society, culture, education, and science, alongside traditional economic sectors. While the legal barriers of the 20th century have been formally addressed, historical tensions continue to linger. Both Mongolia and Taiwan are diligently working toward fostering warm political relations, acknowledging the gradual process required to overcome past grievances. Taiwan’s potential in nurturing the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises in Mongolia is becoming increasingly evident, with notable advancements already made in sectors such as tourism, healthcare, aviation, education, and scientific collaboration. Looking ahead, the prospects of Mongolia and Taiwan actively engaging in regional partnerships and fortifying economic ties through intermediary nations appear promising. |
