The introduction of Taiwan's twelve-year national education has profoundly influenced vocational education, highlighting the necessity of integrating emerging technologies such as AI, big data, and the metaverse to enhance students' practical skills and innovative capabilities. A survey conducted with 158 technical high school internship directors underscored the pivotal role of these technologies in education. The findings not only showcased gender disparities but also illuminated differences in technology adoption based on teaching experience. The research advocates for the promotion of industry collaboration and the creation of tailored professional development programs to bolster teacher abilities. By addressing the variances in gender and experience, schools can more effectively prepare educators to equip students for the forthcoming technological challenges. This approach ensures that vocational education remains in step with the changing demands of industries, thereby nurturing a workforce ready for the future. |
