Humanitarian intervention has been a controversial issue in politics, international relations and international law. The debate over humanitarian intervention has raised more questions and ambiguity rather than clarity. Orford, audacious and revolutionary, offers another dimension to the issue in question. Being a distinctive supporter of feminist and critical theory of international law is never easy in the sense that international law was largely founded on the basis of European and capitalist tradition. Feminist interpretation of international law has long been sidelined and ignored until recently. |
