英文摘要	Eugenia megamalayana sp. nov., is described and illustrated as a new species from the Western Ghats, Tamil Nadu, India. It is very closely allied to Eugenia calcadensis Bedd. but differs in habit, leaf, floral and fruit characters. The comparison of the two species is tabulated here.
