Due to social changes and a complexity medical environment with time, the registered professional nurses (RPN) are faced with changeable ethical dilemmas. Nursing is a discipline that attaches importance to practical application and practicality. Therefore, it is more important for the RPNs to analyze and solve the ethical dilemma ability. In this research is based on a quasi-experimental study which research object is two-year under-graduated nursing students. In order to discuss the planning and implementation of the application course of nursing ethics law, this research used the situation of simulating clinical ethical dilemma and apply the ethical decision-making model to analyze and thinking. The research could let the students learn to obtain the learning effect of applying nursing ethics law to solve ethical dilemmas. The research results were collected, compared by quantitative research learning effectiveness which is based on the students’ability to analyze and solve ethical dilemmas. And qualitative research focus on group interviews which were used to collect students’thoughts and influences on situational teaching. The following is this research found: 1. The average score of student feedback evaluation is 4.58 (out of 5). The students are proficient in the application of nursing ethics and law through the analysis of situational cases and ethical decision-making models during the learning process, and improve their ability to deal with ethical dilemmas in clinical practice. 2. The students agree situational approach that lively teaching designed to stimulate interest and motivation to learn. The discussion and analysis process could brainstorm, learning different ideas and experiences and expand their speculative context, critical ability and achieve learning effectiveness. The research can be used as a reference for the planning and implementation of courses related to nursing ethics and law. |
