This article explores how innovative technologies can improve the quality of life of elderly families and optimize supply and demand in the elderly homecare market. Technology has made remarkable achievements in the field of elderly care, including monitoring vital signs, providing social communication tools, and improving the efficiency of care services. The“Ucarer”platform brings in customer relationship management and e-commerce domain knowledge to provide more homecare choices. Elderly care and long-term care are different concepts in Taiwan. From the market perspective, the former focuses on consumers’right to choose, while the latter is social welfare provided by the government or social institutions. The process design of the“Ucarer”platform considers customer data security and privacy, and the platform aims to provide safety, convenience, and appropriate elderly homecare, besides obtaining the invention patent. |
