The tourism industry has begun actively promoting the responsibilities and obligations of 'low-carbon tourism' to meet the trend of climate change and carbon reduction actions facing the world. In recent years, how to develop relevant plans and strategies for lowcarbon tourism has been deemed an important issue in improving the sustainable development of tourism. This study established an Analytic Network Process (Analytic Network Process, ANP) to assess the relative importance of sustainability indicator dimensions/attributes. An exploration of potential sustainability and execution priorities was conducted for low-carbon travel itinerary contents. The research results indicate that within the sustainability indicator dimensions, ''Sustainable operational mechanisms'' and ''Environmental education and training'' have the most significant impact. In terms of attribute content, the importance ranks as follows: ''Promotion of green energy,'' ''Lowcarbon production and distribution mechanisms,'' ''Asset protection monitoring,'' and ''Carbon reduction education,'' highlighting the crucial roles these attributes play in ensuring sustainability and environmental protection. This study provides a valuable integrated tool for sustainability and low-carbon travel itinerary management. |
